“Boss Hog” is Here! πŸ˜€

A close-up photograph of Boss Hog, a quirky garden hedgehog sculpture made from rusty brown metal, standing on a stone patio in the garden. He has an elongated pointed face, a shiny dark eye, four little metal feet and an impressive covering of long, jagged metal spikes forming his prickly back. Green grass and garden foliage provide the background as he settles into his new home.

Hi Friends.

Well, some things in life are simply too good to leave behind… and apparently, Boss Hog is one of them! If you read our recent Saturday post, Attack of the Mega Pickles, you’ll remember our little trip to Old Moat Garden Centre, where we spotted this rather unusual character. Sarah gave him a few appreciative “oooo’s”, we took a photograph, had a good look, and then… walked away without buying him! Big mistake! Fast forward six days, and guess who was still on Sarah’s mind? Yep, Boss Hog! So this morning we returned to the garden centre, and this time there was no escaping it. Sarah brought him home, and he’s now officially found his place in our garden.

Just look at him! A rather magnificent, rusty, spiky little hedgehog with a face full of character. He’s certainly not short of prickles, and I suspect he’ll be keeping the garden visitors on their toes! I think we can safely say he’s already made himself at home. Welcome to the family, Boss Hog! Just remember, around here, Sarah is the boss… even if you’ve got more spikes! πŸ˜‚
